Don't forget to make your Veterinarian appointment for your new puppy check up within 48 hours of purchase. Please use a private practice Veterinarian not Banfield Animal Hospital. (If you can't get an appointment within 48 hours, just let us know you need an extension). Please email us with the results of your First Well Puppy Check up. (Not a vaccination Appointment) Do not give your new puppy any type of vaccinations the first 14 days, allow the puppy time to settle in, the added stress is not good for the puppy. Please notify us at the first sign of ANY problems. Do NOT wait, 12, 24, 48, 72 hours to call us.

If you are looking for a new puppy, contact your Veterinarian and let them know you are looking for a new puppy and that you will need an appointment to have the puppy examined. When you get your new puppy home, make an appointment with your Veterinarian for a new puppy check up. You have 48 hours to get the puppy checked. We have this time frame, as many things can happen to a puppy once it leaves our care. We want to make sure you are getting a healthy puppy. Once you have the puppy examined please notify us via email with a scan of your Veterinarian report to validate your puppy warranty. If you Veterinarian finds a health problem, please contact us at once and return the puppy immediately. If you fail to activate your warranty, there is nothing that we can do beyond the 48 hour time frame.

If you are a new puppy owner and the puppy seems sick, ill or anything out of the normal, contact us at once 24 hours a day. If the puppy doesn't eat or drink or seems to be lethargic (Lethargy means sluggishness, drowsiness or dullness), call us immediately. Often this is stress related hypoglycemia, many times a trip to the emergency room only makes it worse, and hypoglycemia can be misdiagnosed as Canine Parvovirus (“parvo”). We can pick up the puppy and take him or her to our regular veterinarian, that is familiar with the puppy. This could save unnecessary Veterinarian expresses as our Veterinarian has our medical records.

If you have had a sick or ill puppy/dog in your home in the past 12 months, please do not bring a new puppy into your home. Parvo virus can stay in your carpet or yard for 12 months. Puppies are extremely at risk of attracting parvo virus until he/she has had a complete vaccination series.
